Travis Eck can come to your school or event!

An Otter Day at your school, library, or event provides the audience with a dynamic literary experience that will inspire their creativity and get them excited to write their own stories! Travis Eck is an experienced elementary art educator and children’s book author/illustrator who loves sharing the stories of Hilltown with young readers. An Otter Day experience includes:

• An approximately 45-min long presentation (can be a whole school event or by grade-level)
• A read-through with the author (2 books if time allows)
• A PowerPoint presentation detailing the process of taking a story from idea to completion
• A Q&A session
• A step-by-step drawing lesson, if time allows   (school to provide paper and pencils)
